Hailing from Honduras, Hector Rivera’s desire to travel and storytelling began at age 10, inspired by a Digest magazine. By 19, his dreams took flight in the United States. A traveler and runner, Hector draws deeply from the tales of his maternal family and his vibrant youth.\u00a0What began as a simple retelling blossomed into a passionate storytelling endeavor. Each chapter resonates with personal revelation and a connection that speaks to readers.<\/p>

Hector’s journey led him to a nursing career marked by trials and triumphs. Over four decades in the medical field have given him a deep understanding of the human condition and empathy. He is often moved to tears by the love and compassion he feels in the presence of those he serves.<\/p>
